Reading Angelina is like listening to Weetzie Bat come to life.

I think I originally found her journal through pamie.com. I wouldn't have expected to like it, because I've never been a big fan of the twee 'all lower-case words' writing style, but Angelina's voice is unique enough that it comes across as just the way she is, not something she's doing for effect. And sometimes it feels like she's gotten right inside your head. Like the way this entry inspires me.

...also any person who you intimidate should be avoided like the plague. any person who begrudges your good fortune or wishes to hurt you even if they don't know it. the best people for you right now are curious about you, enchated by you and/or learning something with you. all others fall into the background until you've gotten your armor back.
